Styling Sessions | The Momentum Edit

With summer hot on our heels we’re all counting down the days til we can have a well-deserved break, beach filled days, and those warm summer nights with an ice-cream or two! It can be tricky to work out what to wear when the weather heats up. Often we feel like it’s too hot to wear half our wardrobe. But just because it’s warm, doesn’t mean you can’t still dress to impress! By mixing and matching your wardrobe staples with a few additions from the effortlessly cool Momentum collection, you can easily take your look from the barre to the beach. The aero mesh detailing and eco breathe fabric will keep you cool all day long, without compromising your style, allowing you to have your cake (or ice-cream) and eat it too!

One of the easiest ways to go from the studio to the street is to pop on a denim skirt. Paired with the the Serena Crop Top and Blair Singlet, the look suddenly transforms from pilates to poolside. The aero mesh backing on the Blair Singlet also allows for extra breathability, so you won’t feel those sweat trickles running down your back!

Summer workouts are a great way to keep those vitamin D stores topped up but if you find that staying fresh (and looking fresh) is a bit of a concern, look no further than the Serena Crop Top and Camilla Leggings. Their ProForm Ultra material with added compression aids muscle recovery, so you won’t be hobbling around the next day; while the Serena Crop Top with its high neck finish and comfortable underbust elastic, allows for all day comfort. If working out in a crop top isn’t your thing, add the Lola Dance Crop for a bit of extra coverage!

If you love the Lola Dance Crop as much as we do, it also looks great with shorts - and not just the activewear kind! The stylish Brooke wears the Lola Dance Crop in Ice Blue with the Eve Crop Top underneath, taking it to the beach with the addition of a cute (and sun smart) hat too! Did somebody say summer vacay?

You can’t go wrong with a crop and shorts combo. The Eve Crop Top not only provides comfort and support, but also takes a modern edge on a classic favourite with the aero mesh panelling surrounding the cut out at the back. Paired with the Camilla Short with their matching breathable aero mesh panels, they’re a set made for each other. But just because it’s summer in Melbourne, doesn’t mean that there won’t still be an opportunity to wear your favourite cosy hoodie (can I get a four seasons in one day). The Delta Hoodie gives you that warm cosy hug you need on an unseasonably cool summer day.

Long gone are the days that activewear was just for the gym (or dance studio). These days activewear comprises of both fashion and form, allowing you to easily take your look to the streets. The Indigo hues, tied in with the Ice Blue accents throughout the Momentum range, take this sports luxe look to the coast. Paired effortlessly with a pair of sneakers and sunnies, who said you can’t wear leggings to the beach?
